This is something I've thought many times.
Why George would be disappointed in us: Fact: George Washington HATED political parties Fact: Democrats and Republicans act like two separate countries, who are constantly at war My analysis: Democrats and Republicans both suck, go Republicrats and Democrans. Fact: George refused the title of "Your Excellency" and instead favored "Mr. President" Fact: Our presidents top Cruella de Vil on the "vanity" scale My analysis: !@#$, we're screwed. Fact: George hated war. Fact: Do I even have to say it? My analysis: Way to go, America. There are other things too, but I don't feel like goin' into them. Long story short, George would hate what we've done to his country. (I am innocent of anything our country's done, as I am 15.) |
